Deputy Director, Strathclyde Hyperspectral Imaging Centre for Signal and Image Processing (CeSIP), Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering University of Strathclyde。其研究兴趣包括视觉计算，计算机视觉，基于内容的图像/视频分析检索，机器学习，视觉监控，高光谱图像，大数据分析计算等等。任博士已经发表160余篇高水杂志/会议论文，包括70余篇SCI论文。任职Journal of the Franklin Institute-Engineering and Applied Mathematics, Multidimensional Signal Processing and System, International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and pattern Recognition等SCI杂志副主编。目前为IEEE高级会员，Who Is Who 终身成就Fellow。
